Kai has served on several committees tasked with advancing equity, access, and inclusion in the field of art education and has been invited to share her expertise in publications and speaking engagements. Her understanding of how to nurture change on multiple levels, from the personal to the institutional, is rooted in her experience working with community and her personal pursuit of liberation.
